Project Profile: Ferrari of Denver

Ferrari Dealership with new sealcoating

At Riley’s Asphalt, we take pride in delivering top-tier service, and our recent project for Ferrari of Denver, located in Highlands Ranch, gave us a chance to showcase our commitment to excellence. Ferrari of Denver, known for selling high-performance Ferraris and other luxury cars, needed their parking lot sealcoated and restriped. With a 35,000-square-foot lot and their business running full steam ahead during regular hours, we had to be mindful of timing. We collaborated with their team to identify the best day for the job, settling on Sunday, their only day closed, ensuring no disruption to their operations.

Cracks sealed

Initially, the plan was to divide the work into two phases. This would allow the dealership to move vehicles around the lot while ensuring no overspray reached any of the luxury cars. However, Mother Nature had other ideas. The first Sunday we scheduled the work, we were met with cold and rainy conditions, forcing us to postpone. On the following Sunday, the weather cooperated, and we decided to take advantage of the day to complete the entire job in one go.

Ferrari’s team was fantastic, moving all the cars off the lot. Still, some vehicles were positioned close enough that we had to think quickly to avoid any chance of overspray from the sealer. Our crew came up with an impromptu solution—we used a blue tarp as a shield, holding it up between the cars and the spray rig to keep everything protected. This simple but effective measure allowed us to proceed without risking damage to any of the dealership’s valuable inventory.

We started the process by thoroughly cleaning the entire lot to prepare the surface. Once cleaned, we sealed all cracks using hot rubber to ensure the surface was properly prepped for the next step. With the lot in great shape, we applied over 500 gallons of sealcoat, carefully covering the entire area to provide a smooth, protective layer. Our team worked efficiently and kept a close eye on every detail to make sure the application was flawless.

Once the sealcoating dried, we moved quickly into the striping phase. Fresh stripes gave the lot a crisp, clean look, with the entire space renewed and ready for the week ahead. As the sun began to set, we wrapped up the job, leaving the lot looking sharp and ready for Ferrari of Denver to welcome customers Monday morning with an immaculate parking lot that matched the quality of the vehicles they sell.

This project demonstrated our ability to adapt, improvise, and complete jobs under tight time constraints. Despite the challenges, we completed the work on time and to the high standards Ferrari of Denver expects. At Riley’s Asphalt, that’s the level of service we aim to deliver on every project.
